In the second place, very few people spend other peoples’ money as carefully as they spend their own.
Nun kehrt der Video-Zusammenschnitt wieder zur ursprünglichen Rede von Naomi Klein zurück:
Their job is to convince people that by trying to do good, you do bad - and by doing bad, by pursuing your most selfish desires, you do good.
It is much cheaper … *much* cheaper to convince people that to do good is good, bad bad. Because we *know* this. We already know.

Naomi Klein hat Recht. Ihre Argumentation ist wirklich billiger.
Im zweiten Teil von “Milton Friedman Debates Naomi Klein” geht es dann um Chile. Naomi Klein erzählt ihren Zuhörern, dass Milton Friedman und die Chicago Boys nach den Wahlen 1970 drei Jahre später mit Panzern zurückkehrten, um ihre Ideen durchzusetzen, nachdem keine der drei großen Parteien diese Ideen übernehmen wollte…
